Another one of my have to tell stories about Friendship :-) As i woke up early this morning as to plan out my day for job searching, i was a bit stressed. I know what was on my mind was the limited resources i have (Not looking for sympathy). An old co-worker who has been calling me at least 3 or 4 times a week to give me leads on jobs, had called again this morning to check to see what i thought about a job he sent me. i just figured he wanted to see what i thought so he could apply too (Selfish of me). I told him i was at my sisters and was going to head and apply where i could but that one was not very trust worthy (not when they ask for social over craigslist). He then said he was going to do the same and asked if i wanted to go with him. My first thought was heck ya i will save on gas (selfish again). So i told him yes i will go with you. He picked me up and explained how he saw some construction sites and thought it would be a good idea to just ask if they were hiring. I just told him you are driving and im okay to go where ever. We pull up to a construction site and he looks at me and says Maybe this is the one for you i looked at him and asked arent you going to check too? He smiled and said im okay with where im at with money, i just want to help you to get a job. At that moment i felt Guilt (instantly)! I asked him why he wasnt he looking for a job too? he laughed and said Do you know how many times you paid for lunches when i didnt have money, how many times you shared the blame with our boss because i just didnt know something, how you just talked or listened while we worked, which he said you really are an ASS! But i owe you for so many things. I put on my best Bro face and simply said No worries Dawg! Karma, is it really bad? Prayers do get answered. Direction is always a positive. Tears arent always sad. Faith is Powerful. Being generous and kind will never be wrong.
