Another volunteer writes: Zeus and I have had many one to one...He has remained fearful altough never showed any aggressive behavior and always appeared so welcoming and forward in his kennel, so wanting to go out. Zeus showed a hint of improvement last night. He came at the call of his given name, looked at me in the eyes and took roastbeef from my hand. His tail was out and relaxed. We were in the yard, the day was gone and it was so peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of the care center. He came on the bench where I sat, smelled me intensely and posed a very light kiss on my mouth. He seemed carefree walking through the yard, glancing from time to time at me.. I thought to myself..We made it ! Back inside the building, unfortunately, Zeus sent his tail back between the legs and acted again like a sheep.... Zeus needs out.... now with you, handled by your strong, safe and loving hands. I know the one who will believe in him can make a miracle happen..Will that person be you?
