Anti Semitism In The Scriptures Was Jew On Jew. (1 Kings 19:10,14), And Jews Over And Over Were Instrumental In Stirring Up Crowds And Inciting Violence Against Their Own Brothers. Read The Scripture Below. All Throughout The Book Of Acts Jews Were The Reason Paul A Jew Was Persecuted, Even Stoned. Now They Want To Motivate Gentiles Once Again To Put The Church On The Defensive With A Movie Called, Let The Lion Roar, Which Alleges Anti Semitism In The Translation Of The Scripture Itself By Christians. When Are We Going To Wake Up To What The Jewish Counter Missionaries Are Doing To Stir The World Up Against Christians? Paul Got The Most Flack From Jealous Jews. Gentiles Seemed To Be Generally Elated When He Preached To Them. (1 Thess. 2) 14 For you, brothers, became imitators of Gods churches in Judea, which are in Christ Jesus: You suffered from your own countrymen the same things THOSE CHURCHES SUFFERED FROM THE JEWS, 15 who killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and also drove us out. They displease God and are HOSTILE TO ALL MEN 16 in their effort TO KEEP US FROM SPEAKING TO THE GENTILES so that they may be saved. In this way they always heap up their sins to the limit. The wrath of God has come upon them at last. (1 Thess 2) 45 When the JEWS saw the crowds, THEY WERE FILLED WITH JEALOUSY AND TALKED ABUSIVELY against what Paul was saying. 46 Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, WE NOW TURN TO THE GENTILES. 47 For this is what the Lord has commanded us: I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth. 48 WHEN THE GENTILES HEARD THIS, THEY WERE GLAD and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed. 49 The word of the Lordspread through the whole region. 50 BUT THE JEWS INCITED THE GOD-FEARING WOMEN of high standing and the leading men of the city. THEY STIRRED UP PERSECUTION AGAINST PAUL AND BARNABAS, and EXPELLED THEM from their region. 51 So they shook the dust from their feet in protest against them and went to Iconium. 52 And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. (Acts 13) At Iconium Paul and Barnabas went as usual into the Jewish synagogue. There they spoke so effectively that a GREAT NUMBER OF JEWS AND GENTILES BELIEVED. 2 But THE JEWS WHO REFUSED TO BELIEVE STIRRED UP THE GENTILES AND POISONED THEIR MINDS AGAINST THE BROTHERS. 3 So Paul and Barnabas spent considerable time there, speaking boldly for the Lord, who confirmed the message of his grace by enabling them to do miraculous signs and wonders. 4 The people of the city were divided; SOME SIDED WITH THE JEWS, OTHERS WITH THE APOSTLES. 5 There was a plot afoot among the Gentiles and Jews, together with their leaders, to mistreat them and stone them. 6 But they found out about it and fled to the Lycaonian cities of Lystra and Derbe and to the surrounding country, 7 where they continued to preach the good news. (Acts 14) 18 Even with these words, they had difficulty keeping the crowd from sacrificing to them. 19 Then some JEWS CAME FROM ANTIOCH AND ICONIUM AND WON THE CROWD OVER. THEY STONED PAUL and dragged him outside the city, thinking he was dead. 20 But after the disciples had gathered around him, he got up and went back into the city. The next day he and Barnabas left for Derbe. (Acts 14) 4 Some of the Jews were persuaded and joined Paul and Silas, as did a large number of God-fearing Greeks and not a few prominent women. 5 But THE JEWS WERE JEALOUS; SO THEY ROUNDED UP SOME BAD CHARACTERS FROM THE MARKETPLACE, FORMED A MOB and started a riot in the city. (Acts 17) 11 Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. 12 Many of the Jews believed, as did also a number of prominent Greek women and many Greek men. 13 WHEN THE JEWS in Thessalonica LEARNED THAT PAUL WAS PREACHING the word of God at Berea, THEY WENT THERE TOO, AGITATING THE CROWDS AND STIRRING THEM UP. (Acts 17) 5 When Silas and Timothy came from Macedonia, Paul devoted himself exclusively to preaching, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ. 6 But when THE JEWS OPPOSED PAUL AND BECAME ABUSIVE, he shook out his clothes in protest and said to them, Your blood be on your own heads! I am clear of my responsibility. FROM NOW ON I WILL GO TO THE GENTILES. (Acts 18) 12 While Gallio was proconsul of Achaia, THE JEWS MADE A UNITED ATTACK ON PAUL and brought him into court. 13 This man, they charged, is persuading the people to worship God in ways contrary to the law. 14 Just as Paul was about to speak, Gallio said to the Jews, ....I will not be a judge of such things. 16 So he had them ejected from the court. 17 Then THEY (The Jews) all turned on Sosthenes the synagogue ruler and beat him in front of the court. But Gallio showed no concern whatever. (Acts 18) 2 He traveled through that area, speaking many words of encouragement to the people, and finally arrived in Greece, 3 where he stayed three months. Because THE JEWS MADE A PLOT AGAINST HIM just as he was about to sail for Syria, he decided to go back through Macedonia. (Acts 20) When the seven days were nearly over, SOME JEWS from the province of Asia saw Paul at the temple. THEY STIRRED UP THE WHOLE CROWD AND SEIZED HIM, 28 shouting, Men of Israel, help us! This is the man who teaches all men everywhere against our people and our law and this place. And besides, he has brought Greeks into the temple area and defiled this holy place. (Acts 21) 10 After we had been there a number of days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. 11 Coming over to us, he took Pauls belt, tied his own hands and feet with it and said, The Holy Spirit says, In this way THE JEWS of Jerusalem WILL BIND the owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles. 12 When we heard this, we and the people there pleaded with Paul not to go up to Jerusalem. (Acts 21) 27 When the seven days were nearly over, SOME JEWS from the province of Asia saw Paul at the temple. They stirred up the whole crowd and seized him, 28 shouting, Men of Israel, help us! This is the man who teaches all men everywhere against our people and our law and this place. And besides, he has brought Greeks into the temple area and defiled this holy place. (Acts 21) 20 And when the blood of your martyr Stephen was shed, I stood there giving my approval and guarding the clothes of those who were killing him. 21 Then the Lord said to me, Go; I WILL SEND YOU FAR AWAY TO THE GENTILES. 22 THE CROWD LISTENED TO PAUL UNTIL HE SAID THIS. Then they raised their voices and shouted, Rid the earth of him! Hes not fit to live! 23 As they were shouting and throwing off their cloaks and flinging dust into the air, (Acts 22) 12 The next morning THE JEWS FORMED A CONSPIRACY and bound themselves with an oath not to eat or drink until they had killed Paul. 13 More than forty men were involved in this plot. 14 They went to the chief priests and elders and said, We have taken a solemn oath not to eat anything until we have killed Paul. (Acts 23) 1 Three days after arriving in the province, Festus went up from Caesarea to Jerusalem, 2 where the chief priests and JEWISH LEADERS appeared before him and presented the charges against Paul. 3 They urgently requested Festus, as a favor to them, to have Paul transferred to Jerusalem, for THEY WERE PREPARING AN AMBUSH TO KILL HIM ALONG THE WAY.
