Any backcountry skiers out there that think heli skiing is the major threat to backcountry skiing in the Wasatch need to wake up and smell the roses. The Canyons, Park City Resort and mainly Talisker and Vail are by far and away the Evil Empire! They can Take away the Whole PC Ridgeline with a couple of well placed lifts and do more damage to the backcountry access than a whole fleet of Helicopters. They have one goal in mind and that is expansion and making $$$ with no thought given to user groups other than rich resort beaters and developers. Im not usually very political, but this really sucks, good bye Monitors, No Name, Scotts and the rest of the terrain on the PC Ridgeline.
