Anyone ever had the problem of horses not wanting to eat hay when soaked but happy to eat it when dry? We have hay that was cut this year and they wont eat it soaked. Arch has to have his soaked for 12 hours so it doesnt wear his teeth and they both cough if it is dry. We need an urgent solution because it is our only supply! Stop gap measure is haylage. I was wondering if we could soak it in something tasty other than molasses but I cant think of anything!
