Rate of Pay: DOE _____________________________________________________ Overview Front Desk Reception to Answer/transfer medium volume, 6-lncoming phone line system; consisting of 5-6 companies, multiple support to various departments, screen walk in or appointment applicants, route mail, business casual appearance a must, some filing, and data entry as needed. Responsibilities • Business casual appearance that projects a professional image. • Front Desk Reception to Answer/transfer medium volume, 6-lncoming phone line consisting of 5-6 companies conveying confidence, positive attitude, and a smile. • Ensure all visitors sign in at the front desk for monitoring purposes. • Support to various departments, Supply and Distribution, Environmental, and Accounting, and Human Resources. • Screen walk in or appointment applicants, (job seekers) provide them an application, ensure application is completed. Attach resumes to application and provide them to the HR Dept. • Provide Pre-Employment test after application process is completed, test, score test, provide results to applicant, and lastly provide all documents to HR for a possible screening interview of that candidate. • Sort and Route incoming mail to various departments. • Advance Excel data entry, Word document recreation on a timely basis. Minimum Requirements • Basic Problem Solving — On incoming calls, elated information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Able to handle challenging situations such as; being able to handle angry, confused, or impatient callers. • Analytical Thinking — Job requires basic analyzing information and using basic logic to address work-related issues and problems for incoming callers, vendors, customers as needed. • Dependability - Job requires being punctual, reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling work schedule obligations. Be able to identify products and how the products interact with the department requests. Patience, self-control and the ability to work well independently or on a team are desirable qualities. • Attention to Detail — Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks and assignments. Anticipates problems. Double checks work by spell checking all emails, and documents prior to submission. Keep organized at all times to better assist visitors and colleagues. • Integrity — Job requires to be honest and ethical at all times. To report any and all discrepancies to the Environmental Supervisor, Manager, prior to going to Human Resources. Pleasant, cordial, business conduct at all times upon answering calls, questions from all types of business avenues weather management, employees, customers, or vendors with quality customer service. Adhere to policies. • Initiative — Job requires a willingness to take on added responsibilities and challenges as they arise. Attempt to understand project prior to completion, ask question to provide quality work with information necessary to complete task. Physical Demands: Good hand-eye coordination, hand coordination to type with both hands using all fingers for key board typing purposes min. 45-50WPM, Physically be able to lift 50lbs. Good written and oral communication skills in English a must. Other Physical Requirements: • Ability to crouch, kneel, bend or stoop to perform tasks such as checking shipments received from outside vendors. Sign off on outside mail carriers. • Ability to use hands, arms, and upper body strength to grasp office equipment, ability for him or her to grasp rails while walking and climbing stairs to the second floor executive office as needed. Hearing: Ability to hear detailed telephone instructions in the presence of background noise are required. Environmental Conditions (Physical Surroundings): This position is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions. 100% of the shift will find you working in the office environment setting with controlled ventilation. This employee is not protected from temperature changes outside the office. Education: Min. High School Diploma or equivalent. Good communication skills; Must Speak, Read, Write, and understand English fluently, Spanish a plus. Excel spreadsheets with Formulas a must, Word document applications in recreating documents, Power point, and Outlook Send, receive, create Emails, and attachments a must, over 2yrs computer knowledge a must.
