Anyone remember these? my old man was a senior shuttering foreman for three of the bridges on the A1(M) Doncaster bypass (Blyth to Redhouse) in the late fifties/early sixties, they were in the colours of the main contractors Cubitts, Fitzpatrick and Shand bright lime green! my old man had a Willys jeep in the same colour to run about in, I remember being allowed to change gear for him and it nearly breaking my wrist ( I was only five) the best memory is the four foot pile of used tea leaves outside the workers lobby, you could smell tea forty yards away. not my pic.
