Anyone taken Cymbalta? My doctor suggested I take Cymbalta for my severe chronic pain. Ive seen the ads and I did some research and said, Ok, Ill give it a try - one month should be long enough to see if its going to work. The first dosage didnt go well at all. Wow, what a wreck! It gave me severe nausea, a headache, a case of the runs, and it made me feel like I had absolutely no energy. Friday was a very, very difficult day. Oh, did I mention that all the pain was still there. Friday night I was so tentative about taking it again. And said: Ok, nothing ventured, nothing gained. And the Doctor prescribed it and said it might take a while for my body to get used to the medication and that the side effects would lessen. The side effects have lessened some in one day already which is hopeful. Only half the nausea, no runs (took some anti-diarrheal) but still had a bad headache and still nothing for the pain (but to be expected.) Im not as tired today but I did get a lot of rest yesterday.
