Anyone want to practice their German translation skills? This article is held by the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library at the University of Toronto. It is part of the Otto Schneid collection that, among many things, contains letters, newspaper articles, and photographs of my great-grandfathers work. I have transcribed the piece (because it was published using Fraktur which is an old German font that is really difficult to read!) and I used Google Translate to get a rough sense of what the article says, but its a lousy translation. The whereabouts of the other three paintings is unknown.
