During the peak of this harsh winter while the valley is facing unprecedented hardships from power cuts, lack of essentials and absence of administration, the care taker Chief Minister again fled to London, leaving common people in Kashmir at the mercy of freezing cold. And from the comfort of London, Omar is driving sadistic pleasure from border firing between India and Pakistan, which has already claimed numerous lives. How sad and despicable that Omar ridicules our yearning of peace, a wish which is shared by all people in the state who have had enough of violence. Is conflict and violence a game for Omar that he keeps enjoying from his safe and cozy confines? By making jokes about the desire of PDP for peace in J&K and our efforts for resumption of peace processes between India and Pakistan, he has not only insulted common people who have for long suffered this violence but has once again exposed his war mongering mindset.
