Apologies for the profane outburst yesterday. (As if venting on Facebook would aleviate the symptoms or change this government )... I woke up drenched this morning but I can swallow now. Still cant talk and slightly restricted air intake on the right side where it feels like Ive been kick in the neck. This began as a mild chest infection around last week and when I blew my voice out at work last Sunday it went to my throat. I carried on as usual only a little hoarse. I was so chipper by Friday I went busking through the rain to Central Tunnell. (Did alright too). Feeling even more chipper, I blew the takings on a some drinks anx smokes and by the time Saturday morn was sneaking up on me sleep looked good. Woke up at 1pm Sat feeling. about as good as I shouldve. Thinking Id shaken this lurgy I went to the Jam Gallery to listen to King Tide with some mates and probably stayed up too late again, as you would. Cut to yesterday morning. I bad a lump the size of a small fist under my chin. A dull pain from my collar bone to behind my eye and ear scrwing with my balance and which became an excruciatingly acute pain when I tried to swallow, cough or even breath too deeply. All I can say is Bizzare or f@#InG c@#t, be careful if you get it and stay at home and a big thank you to Ernie Garland for the Paracetamol mercy drop! I will be playing sax but not singing at Bronte Bowlo from 4pm this arvo but the lovely Linda Jansen will be singing!
