Want to fast track your career in the arts industry? Then this is for you… The Fi.ELD is a unique collective of emerging dance professionals developing essential skills to make their ideas happen. Facilitated by Kate Scanlan (Scanner’s Inc) and Emma Kerr: Creative Producer: Participation and Events), you will gain in depth knowledge from industry professionals during the monthly Know-how sessions and have the opportunity to design, develop and deliver your own project ideas with investment from East London Dance. The programme includes the following: The Know-how (monthly full day seminars): skills and knowledge development on topics including Fundraising & Financial management, Programming and Curation, Event management and Marketing & PR. The Studio (weekly): a free dance studio at Stratford Circus, which is programmed by The Fi.ELD for 1.5 hours a week for a 6-week period. FI.ELD Trips: networking, seeing a variety of productions and visiting multiple venues across London. Hands On: professional experience in project management and teaching. Real Money Real Event: pitching ideas, dragon’s den style! All funded projects will be produced by the FI.ELD 3 and programmed in The Fi.ELD’s own festival. Bursary: bursaries available to spend on professional development.
