I ran a half marathon event at Tallangata last Saturday. I met a guy after finishing the event. “I have been to Japan!!” He said to me. He asked me, “Do you know Matsudo Kokusai high-school?” Of course I know it. Because it is close to my running course in Japan. I was surprised to learn that his College and Matsudo has an exchange program. I hope we can see each other again in Japan. After the event, the big event was waiting for me. It was going to Bright from Wangaratta by bicycle!! The distance was 75km on the road and it was mostly flat. I thought about something before leaving Wangaratta. If I could achieve to run a half-marathon and to go to Bright from Wangaratta by bicycle with a peace of Banana, I would be a super-man. And if I end up running out of my energy and could not move on the way, I would go to the other world like the drying dead snakes on the road. Of course I don’t need a story like the super-man. I was not hungry at that time. But I had taken a lunch before the bike riding. A 75km distance by bicycle, Usually it is a piece of cake for me. But this ride was too though then. I ran a half-marathon before the ride. I was carrying my back-pack which I believe weighed mover 60kg. I didn’t put a cycle pants on. (Because I didn’t have it….) I am losing weight now. I don’t have enough fat in my butt. I was struggling with my pain came from the saddle for the last hour of my ride.. I arrived in Bright after two hours and half since leaving Wangaratta. Fortunately, I didn’t become like the sneaks nor the super-man. I came back to Bright. I have one more week for training in Bright. And I have two more events in Melbourne to compete.
