Applications for the Winter 2013 Leadership Fellows Program to be held in Houston, Texas December 18-22, 2013 are ready. The Leadership Fellow Program is designed to prepare undergraduate members for global leadership. The program will provide a week of intensive theoretical and pragmatic leadership training in a retreat setting. It will develop a cadre of responsible undergraduate members of the sorority for key leadership roles in the public and private sectors. The program serves to enhance and supplement the recruitment of a diverse group of African-American women. Corporations and organizations will be able to select from a cadre of college trained women who are endowed with leadership skills and a commitment to community service. The program will mix conference presentations with interactive workshops. The Fellows will have opportunities to network with their peers, leaders in the sorority as well as global companies and organization and their assigned mentors.
