April 1st, 2014: Temperature in upper 60s F. End of Maple Sugar Season. Pulled Taps. Boiling off last syrup. Approximately a quart in production. Moved five week old pullet checks to shed, and reduced supplemental heating for them. Created Play Pen Paddock within larger chicken yard. Began integration of Chicken Littles with Chicken Bigs. Human girl child is singing them all My Little Pony songs. Windows and doors are open. Home is ventilating. Opened north side windows for first time this year. Life is good.
