Are we a nation??? Tonight it seems to be the national jashan ( celebration) . But here in Bamiyan it is different, the people of Hazara, who are the residence of Hazaristan or as the central government is saying the “central high lands”. Mostly this people are Hazara which means deprivation, genocide, and many more words which related to the dark history that they had passed. Hazaras are living in the remote areas or very far from the capital city of the country. The government is claiming that it has brought justice, equality and brotherhood among the nations! May I ask them the governmental higher ups that do they know about Daikundi, Ghor and Bamiyan? Tonight in this so called national jashan the Hazaras from all over the Hazaristan celebrate this night in the light of their mobile phone, they are trying to show themselves as happy as the first citizens of this land but they must know that they are still the third or in many places they are not in the categories of the citizens of this country. More than 90% of this nation still living in the era of Zahir shah or may be in period of Abdurrahman khan. They don’t know what are the national pride, national holly days and national gathering. Tonight was a great example of this inequality and injustices. Currently it is becoming the slogan of Afghan politicians that we are going to be a nation. Nationalization of different ethnics, sects, believes and tribes can’t be done only and only by talking, but it will be possible, when the government distribute the assets of nation equally and must stop ignoring of the smaller nations and tribes. None of our child will sing the song of brotherhood till the government did not distribute the having equally among them. It is not the way to be a nation, some part of the country is dying from hungriness and some parts are going to be blast. we are not going to be a nation!
