Are you a budding writer and journalist? Are you between 16 and 25? Ever heard of Column Idol? Run by The Sun and The Media Trust, this is your opportunity to have your say about something that matters to you and have it read by millions of people across the country. A panel of judges will choose six finalists. A Sun journalist, trained through Media Trust’s youth mentoring scheme, will mentor the finalists, helping to refine ideas and write their column. Each of the finalists will then pitch their column to a panel of judges and the winner’s column will be printed in the newspaper.
