Are you job ready? Are you interested in SCC’s continuing education welding program? Start with this course which provides instruction to support formal training in the industrial maintenance trades, particularly for welders. Topics covered are basic safety, hand and power tools, construction math, construction drawings, rigging, employability skills, workplace communication, and materials handling. Class sessions may be formal classroom, shop practice, or in industrial plants. This is a skills class that meets the requirements for NCCER certifications. The class starts on 5/21 and ends on 7/17 and imeets Wed. and Thurs. from 8:00 am – 12:30 pm. Students will also earn the 10 hour OSHA card in general industry. Registration is $180 plus $.50 Accident Insurance & $25 Project Fee, totalling $205.50 (No class on July 3rd). Students can contact the Eagle’s One Stop at 704-991-0123 to register.
