Arise and Awake During our visit to Madurai, Tirunelveli, Tiruchenthur and Kanyakumari i observe our rising insensibilities. We failed to maintain silence in prayer and meditation halls. The repeated request for maintaining silence and switching of mobile phones were ignored repeatedly and the sanctity of meditation and prayer has been compromised at times. We failed to understand why we chose such places, if fun and frolic is the sole intentions there are several places in and around there.But visiting the spiritual places and behaving frivolously perturbed me the most. Astonishingly the visitors represent all walks of life in India. Insensibilities of using toilets, handling the garbage, dining hall are intolerable and any foreigner witnessing this will have disparaging remarks on India. We are premature in community living and it is essential to foster a matured means and ways that takes us closer to that destination. We must consciously learn how to maintain discipline and decency at public places, as our material prosperity fails to make up our inner emptiness. We, people of India yet to make a disciplined team and only such disciplined team can rebuild our nation.
