Around 1:00 this morning I found myself in the kitchen. Not sure how I got there. I was standing there sound asleep. Its the wake-up is the part Ill remember. In my dreaming mind I was standing in front of a sofa, so I sat down. There is no sofa in the kitchen. There is a very hard tile floor. I woke up un the way down. Splat. My rump took the brunt of the impact. Ive fallen, and I did get up. Just hours earlier, just a couple feet away, Alisha was stepping outside through the kitchen door. She fell on the steps, landed on her knee on the concrete, and gave her ankle a little twist. Im thinking we need to put up yellow tape and orange cones. Its just not safe in that part of the kitchen right now.
