Around 10 years ago, a young kid started playing drums in his first band, at the Warehouse. He meet a girl. After a tremendous amount of persuasion, she agreed to go on a date. He picked a Motion City Soundtrack concert here. They liked each other enough to go on another date. That continued, and as he played in several bands, and she came to watch him play, and tolerated all the things that come with being in a band. 10 years later, he asked me if I would do him a favor. After 10 years of playing here, of course I would help him if I could. So tonight, when he convinced her that he was at rehearsal and she needed to stop at the Warehouse to pick up posters for his bands upcoming show, he was actually waiting at the top of the stairs. The Used was playing on the sound system, some old songs that had a lot of meaning from when they met. He got down on one knee and spoke a little piece, unscripted. And she said Yes. Congrats to Adrian and Hayley!
