Art & Crafts Village – Islamabad Capital Development Authority is celebrating this event with full ardor and enthusiasm. CDA intends to deliver a series of enjoyment from 10th August to 18th August, a week full of activities and delight to enthrall the nation with a power energy boost! Mass Comm Solutions wishes to add colors and festivities to this year Azadi Celebrations by managing a world class event. We plan to mark this day in a unique and innovative manner, by keeping in view the current scenario of country. Pehchaan Pakistan Ceremonial Festivities • Flag Hoisting – The must ritual of 14th August • Dove Release - The universal symbol of peace and freedom, it will be a tribute to contributors of pre and post independence sacrifices. • Airing Balloons – For the amazement of kids and elders, the balloons will be aired to symbolized our expression of freedom • Candle Lighting - The zealous crowd will lit the candle to express unity, solidarity and passion for their beloved land while acknowledging the invaluable efforts of countless unsung heroes. • Film Shows - A picture is worth a thousand words and a movie is worth a thousand pictures! Nothing can incite greater love and respect for “Pakistan” then the showing of Patriotic and achievement projecting films, dramas and documentaries. • Rhythm of Freedom - A professional band will play instrumental tunes of national songs and patriotic melodies which evoke national spirit in participants. They will march past the venue to amplify the feel of Azadi during 13th and 14th August. • National Legacy Displays - In the spirit of Azadi, exclusive display of national legacy of Pakistan and officially depicted symbols of nationalism ranging from national flower, fruit to currency to models of famous places etc. will be presented. • Independence Day MIME Show - MIME Show is available to all the amateur and professional performers, who will not want to miss out a platform to express their skills. • Patriotic Craft Show - Beautiful hand-made products, crafts ornaments and articles depicting Azadi theme or patriotic spirit will be displayed to enlighten the spirit of patience and perseverance. Inaam Pakistan Contests & Quizzes • Freedom on Move – The leading car manufacturers will showcase their products embedded in Freedom tone. • Dress Competition – The dress competing for closest resonance to freedom and passion for Pakistan. • Passion for Music – The music produced by amateurs and the youth competing for national vibes. No freedom festivity stands without its stock of Milli Naghma • Vehicle Display - Automobile show of thoroughly decorated cars, with a theme of Azadi. • Azadi Colors- Armature Painting - On-spot painting competition on Azadi and Patriotism • Photography Competition – Let the best shot of the event be the national shot. • Homeland Projection - Documentaries on natural reserves of Pakistan, art, culture, traditions and all the positive aspects of our beloved land. • Freedom Quiz – In order to value freedom one must be a good student of history. • Azadi Special Performances – The distinctive performances destined to be remembered. Paighaam Pakistan Commemoration & Communication • Comments Wall - A 8x50 comment wall will be erected for the participants of Azadi Festival to express their, thoughts, prays, views and aspirations for their beloved land. This activity will be the heart and soul of every Pakistani visiting the area. • Shohada Corner - The definition of shohda does not end with Soldiers in the battlefield; rather it encapsulates all those who have rendered their lives for their homeland and more recently a tribute to over 50,000 innocent Pakistanis who fell victim to terrorism. • Tales of Sacrifice - National heroes and their families will be invited on stage to describe and explain their struggle and achievements for freedom. They will be able to share experiences, hardships and courageous actions they have undertaken to achieve their dreamland. • Wish for Pakistan- A corner will be develop azadi wish printed and E-cards will be available, courier companies, internet providers and telecom companies will be asked to setup their booths to send these wish cards for their love and dear ones including Great Leaders of Pakistan Fun-Filled Freedom Commemoration & Communication • Face Painting, Mehendi & Bangles Stalls – The stalls will enhance the already jovial mood depicting delightful colors of Azadi. • Props & Ornaments - Badges, Buntings, Mini-Flags, Caps, Tee-Shirts and Stickers of Azadi Festival and Independence Day Celebrations adding greater fervor to the occasion. • Grand Musical Night – Marking the eve of Independence Day; a grand musical night with the leading rock stars awaits you. • Fire-Works Show - A carefully planned and beautifully executed Azadi fire-work show will be organized to mesmerize eyes of the participants of festival. • Kids Freedom Gala – Nobody understands the spirit of freedom better the kids! The little Pakistanis will put a joyous mark on the celebration by getting indulged in special Joy land area comprising of Jumping Castle, Train, Trampoline, Marry-go-round, Kidi Rides and Slides. Cartoon Characters, like Tallman, will also amuse children with their funny acts and jokes. Tallman will be giving mini-flags of Pakistan and other Independence Day gifts to the kids. • Food Corner – Pakistani Cuisine is world renowned for its taste.
