As 2013 was winding down, I knew 2014 would be a big one. I had a lot I wanted to accomplish. I’ve managed to meet and exceed some of my goals, and fell a little short on others, but overall definitely a success. I graduated college! Our magazine was finally released. I was lucky enough to do my internship with the same publication Earl McRae loved, even got a few big cover stories out of it. Had lots of great times with friends and family. From hockey games, live shows, birthday parties, dinners and even just nights in (or hitting up drag shows with the journo gang) – thanks for all the good times friends and fam! The highlight of my year was my time in Slave Lake. I met so many amazing people, from veterans to volunteers and everyone in between. That trip changed my life and Ill never forget the people I met. Thanks 2014! I may not have done everything I set out to do, but that’s okay. That’s what 2015 is for! Bring it! Happy New Year everyone! Please party safe, and DON’T CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY TONIGHT! Lol. Will ring in the new year right after my break with Team Hisko! I guess if Im stuck working, Im glad its with you guys!
