The SMARTEST thing Ive ever done financially was STOP paying the mortgage on the house I was foolish enough to get into debt over in the first place. $3,300/month in true real estate costs over 64 months is $211,200 in pure cash savings alone that I didnt have to spend. That has no mention whatsoever on the investment returns of the initial portions of that since 2009. When I had a bad credit score I was debt free and able to see more money than Ive ever seen in my life. And THAT was back then. So shout out to so called good debt.
