As I sit here in the hospital with daddy I feel like the last couple of days are just a fog. As you know I took momma to see daddy on Wednesday, after we left the nursing home called my sister and told her that daddy had been throwing up. Some time Thursday morning they called back and said they were taking him to the er....his fever was high and his blood pressure was low, his kidneys were not function and he was also bleeding on the inside but they did not know where it was coming from. The doctor told us that basically his insides were shutting down and he had gotten some kind of infection. They are keeping him as comfortable as possible. They also told us that he was septic to shock and that they were going to keep him for a couple of days to try to get rid of the infection. They also told us that (and this is the hard part) when he left the hospital he would either be going to hospice or the cemetery. I thank God that I carried momma to see him because I almost didnt. My prayer is Gods will be done
