As WISG 2014 draws to its end, the race for top spot was between Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, with the Grenadians leading the charge. Day six (6) began with Female basketball losing to Grenada, forty (40 - 25) twenty five. Grenada won the female basketball discipline. Following the basketball, the footballers only needed a draw to secure the title yet another year. SVG for the second (2nd) consecutive year with a two (2) nil victory over host St. Lucia. The opening goal was scored by captain Vasbert Ledger in the first half and Chavel Cunningham in the second half of play. It was the turn of the netball in the night, and it was a hard earn victory over Dominica. The game ended thirty five (35 - 29) to twenty nine. Sunday 3rd would see SVG taking on Grenada in male basketball. Netball would be decided later during the day, as SVG would come up against St. Lucia, in an attempt to retain their WISG Netball crown.
