★★As a 1 year old pup, all Buster wants to do is run and play and roll around in the grass and get belly rubs and give doggie kisses★★ But that’s not what ACC has in store for him—this puppy is on tomorrow’s euthanasia list. No doubt Buster is still trying to figure out how he got to a cage at Brooklyn ACC. As scared as he was, Buster went through his initial medical exam fine—he “allows petting & handling” and was found to be in decent health though clearly hungry (aren’t all pups!). Then after sitting in that crate for 2 days they took him to a strange room where they squeezed his paw, tried to play tag, stared at him, gave him and tried to take away food, a toy, rawhide & brought in a strange dog. Buster, being the pup he is, has no clue what those people were trying to do but he did the best he could. He wasn’t happy when they were trying to get his rawhide or a plastic hand dipping through his dish…. So now, the only way baby Buster can get out of there is for someone to FOSTER or ADOPT him through a New Hope rescue! Are you the person who knows that Buster’s just a big baby who is desperate for someone to teach him how to be a good, grown up dog? If you are, start applying to rescues to foster or adopt Buster.
