As a christian learn to set yourself apart for God. These are not times for just requests upon requests. You will be drawing near to God. You will be training your spirit to be more sensetised and get tuned to the Holy Spirit. These are times for long period of quiet time not just a rush-rush schedule. There are times Christ would go away from the noises that were in His time, that is to a solitary place. People are running to and fro, some working Monday to Monday, and if we do not at least create some quality time with God oftenly, you become a lukewarm christian. What is now becoming more like a task master in your life? The taskmasters in Egypt made sure that Israel worked hard and ensured that they would not think of worshipping God freely. Do you still have time for God where you commune with Him not trying to rush for some other appointments? These are times when you meditate on the WORD of GOD and dig deeper in His word, and feed yourself with big stakes as much as you like. Take a notebook and a pen. Soak yourself in His word. These are not times to listen to a tape or cds but you, your bible and note book. This is not only for church leaders, NO! One of the reasons why most of the times you struggle to pray for long hours is lack of the word and revelation. You see, when you are full of Gods word in you the Holy Spirit then stirs that which is in you when you pray, and the prayer becomes more prophetic being inspired by His word. Prophesy using that stired word in your life or over what you are praying for. That word in you gives you a burden for some direction in prayer. I am calling all the children of God to begin to practice this more often. You will begin to experience that even in your general conversation the word in you will just bubble out of you imparting grace to the hearers. I like this part. You share your understanding, revelation or your rhema with aonther believer so that you sharpen one another with the word and your overflow of His spiritual impartation in your from His presence. Learn to sit at Jesus feet and learn more from Him. When the minister preaches to the audience of this calibre all of you will flow together. But those that oftenly wonder in services when the minister is preaching or teaching, it is because they neglect what I am saying of this practice of setting ones self apart for God. Your faith will grow faster. You will hunger more for God. There are things that God will prune from you during this time of personal devotion and setting yourself apart. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. You will be consciencious of being spiritually minded than carnally minded. Some deep understanding of the things and kingdom of God normally comes through this way too. You will be training yourself to become an obedient child of God to His word. Your level of commitment to God and His things will change to a higher level. Set yourself apart for God and commune with Him. The Holy Spirit will guide you and teach you the deep things of God as you seek to know HIM more. This practice will make your heart, soul and spirit be sold out to the living God. The Spirit of God will fill you with fire, passion for Jesus Christ and burden for the lost souls. Your heart is broken ready to receive instructions from Him through His word and His servants as they shepherd you. Sactified character and discipline will also be a result of this practice. Bask in His presence. Enjoy your God more. Learn to talk to God during this time. Enjoy your friendship with Him. Enjoy your Father as this will determine a strong personal relationship with Him. God continue to renew your strength. God wants to dine with you more and more!!!
