As a teenage girl in Secondary school, I used to love listening to songs - Blues most especially. I particularly loved Marc Anthonys I need you back then (Even now, I still do). Listening to this song wherever I heard it (it was mostly on Radio then), I would give myself the pleasure of fantasizing about being in a beautiful relationship with someone who cherished me so much to say/sing to me the words of the song or treat me according to the words of the song. (Dont laugh. Im a romantic @ heart). This Dream, I knew I would come to realise someday and I kept waiting for that day. Oh! I had my fair share of crushes. Ohmigosh! If I list their names here, theyll see it and might never believe it (I was a very hard nut to crack then and still is). But those were mere crushes and they disappeared as sudden as they appeared. I saw my mates, even those close to me, get into relationships but I never did... I was still looking for that special sign. I didnt know what it felt like but I knew Id recognize it when I see it.
