As a young educated black woman in todays society I want to apologize to all the mothers of young black sons who have not been lifted up by us, their sisters. As a unit we need to do better. As a sister to a young black man this hit home, it could have been my brother. But I promise to do better in how I portray your sons, my brother, my dad, my friends etc. Uplift our young black men so they have the confidence in us to defend them when they need us most #MyBrothersKeeper
