As if I needed any more projects to scuffle around with, the impending overhaul of our bathroom and the subsequent refit of the entire DWV system has gotten me thinking about a book idea I had quite a while ago. In fact, I have been thinking so much about it, I may very well work up a kickstarter. This would be a book on the adventures of D.I.Y., based on my own experiences and those of others who have come behind people who had no idea what they were doing. I began to collect notes and the like back when I worked as an electrician in Kentucky (yes, we had electricity there), and gathered more material when we bought our first house in Michigan (which, at only nine years old, needed to be rewired and replumbed). Now, we live in a century-plus house, behind an array of owners who really should not have been allowed to be in the same room with a hammer, much less electrical tape. Any input? I will be working up the kickstarter this week. --Bob
