As it turned out Lissy didnt get to have her pizza but did get to have a little mt dew. She was able to get up a go to the play room which she was excited about. Late yesterday evening she was allowed a soft diet so she ate mashed potatoes and gravy, cookies n cream ice cream that she had been waiting for for 2 days ever since Cody brought it to her! She had some pain in her stomach after eating which they said is normal. Later in the night Her pick line came out. We had a really really rough time even preparing her to get an iv because she is so sore from being poked on so much. All of her veins r blowing when they try to get an iv n and she is fighting them so much. I requested for a flight nurse to come in and try to put one in because they r very good and she was able to get one in her foot. After 1 am she slept good. Right now we r n pre-op they r going to go n and clean her wound and tighten the bolts on the exfixiator. They r going to do wet to dry dressings in the wound onbher hip and get it ready for skin grafts next week. They r going to put another iv n while she is under anesthesia because she had to have 2 ivs or 1 iv abd a pick line. A pick line will b done sometime soon. It cant b done I n the or because the team who does those arent here yet. Please continue to pray!! Prayers for healing, strength, and a fast recovery. She is extremely exhausted and We need them so very much! God has already done so much for her and abd Jason and I giving us strength and some some sense of sanity to get through. And I know GOD will continue to do so. We r just trusting n God and taking it day by day. There is so much power n prayer! We love you all and thank you so very much!! Lissy just said thank u too all the people praying for me and said please keep on praying for me!
