As many American students head back to school today and with the beginning of the Tunisian school year just around the corner, we congratulate the hardworking #Access students of the Youth And Horizons Youth Association in #Tabarka who have spent the summer learning English. Earlier this summer more than 40 new Access students gathered on a beautiful sunny day in Tabarka to show off their impressive singing, dancing and public speaking talent during the English Access Microscholarship Program opening ceremony. U.S. Embassy representatives joined the staff of Youth And Horizons Youth Association to congratulate the new students on their selection to take part in this prestigious two-year program and highlighted the importance of learning English in our contemporary world. At the end of this joyous celebration, a group of Tabarka Access students planted a tree in Les Mimosas Hotel, the location of the opening ceremony, to express their deep commitment to environmental protection and effective contribution to their local community. We applaud their talent and dedication and are happy to welcome them to the Access program!
