As many of you may know, I write fairly regularly for SISTERS Magazine. Through our writing and also via Facebook, Ive been introduced to many of the SISTERS writers. All are women, most are mothers, and many write about the things which they are passionate about. One of those writers was sister Maria Zain, a Malaysian native who had recently moved to the UK. She was passionate about homeschooling her 5 kids (all under 9 years old), an advocate of natural childbirth, and a talented jewelry maker. Over the summer I even purchased some beautiful hand made metal and bead book marks (Kerri and Zakirah Kristin) from her. As far as I can tell, she was a true superwoman, doing it all...and doing it all for the sake of God. Two days ago, Maria passed away giving birth to her sixth child. Although I never met her, the news of her death has me reeling. I have faith in God...I know that He will take care of her grieving husband and 6 precious babes...but still, my human heart cries for them.
