As more information comes out, it seems entirely possible that not - TopicsExpress

As more information comes out, it seems entirely possible that not only is the cop in Ferguson who shot Michael Brown not a murderer but rather a servant of the community who was viciously attacked by a thug and then justifiably used lethal force to protect himself. Its entirely possible that millions of Americans might owe a hard working hero a huge apology. The problem is that Michael Browns defenders have possibly created a narrative that they are too selfish to admit being wrong about. Its possible that some are so politically invested in this issue that no matter what the facts turn out to be they will pervert logic to whatever extent they need to deny reality. Again, we dont know either way, and thats the whole point. Some of us are ready to support which ever side justice demands we support, and some of us are lemmings that may refuse to acknowledge the truth for partisan or cultural purposes. The big question is whether those who rushed to judgement will be willing to be rational and admit fault if their preconceived opinions turn out to be clearly false. Will some admit that its at least possible that this cop may deserve an award for his service to the community, risking his life after being viciously attacked? Facts will dictate who we should support, not irrational race baiters and looters and those wanting to push partisan narratives.
