As most of you on Friday, March 7, 2014 Jason Blevins who was in severe pain was rushed to the Martinsville Memorial Hospital by ambulance. Jason underwent a surgery to repair a hole in his colon, during the surgery the colon ruptured and poisoned his system. Jason was on life support the weekend and continues to be on a respirator. He is doing much better and the doctors hope to have him off of the ventilator by the end of the week. He still has a long way to go, including after hospitalization a period of rehabilitation that timing is uncertain. Jason and has a wife, Sondra, have 3 middle school aged children. And like countless other people that have lost insurance due to ObamaCare, Jason has no insurance. The family greatly appreciates the prayers and calls and well wishes and any donations made will be put to good use as neither Jason or Sondra are currently able to be at work. This page will be updated with Jason’s status and benchmark progress reports so that everyone will know how he is doing and the progress he’s making.
