As of January 2014, 193,000 Holocaust Survivors were living in Israel. The survivors living in Israel is reduced year by year by approximately 13 thousand. It is a fact that their needs only grow as they age. This is a critical time period for Holocaust survivors in Israel while their needs grow due to age. It is projected that by 2016 the trend for needs in assistance will flat-line and the following years after 2016 we will start the reversal of this cycle due to diminishing numbers of survivors as the rate of mortality only increases with age. Lovers of Israel we have only a window of time of approximately four years in which to show our love and appreciation to those who survived the Holocaust.
