As one of the oldest building in America, the United States Capitol Building has seen a number of hauntings throughout the years. In the 1850’s the U.S. Senate had bathtubs installed in the basement of the Capitol. In November of 1875, Vice-President Henry Wilson fell asleep while taking a bath in the senate bathtub. He was stricken with a sever case of pneumonia and died later that night in the Vice-Presidents office in the Capitol.
