As our hearts go out to our brethern and all peace loving people in France, let us strengthen our commitment to peace and unity. Let us light our Shabbat candles tonight at 4:44PM for the victims. Let us increase in acts of goodness and kindness to bring more light into a darker world. Let us come to Shul and pray for those who are home out of fear to attend services. As we read in this weeks Parshah, the Jewish people go into Egyptian slavery and the world becomes a dark place for the Jews, but ultimately G-d sends Moshe to redeem the Jewish people and destroys the Evil Egypt and Pharaoh with the 10 plagues. So may it be in our days that we merit to see the destructions of the evil forces oppressing our brothers and sisters in France, Israel and around the world. Through our good deeds and Mitzvot may we merit to bring about the ultimate times of peace and salvation, when Hashem will remove all pain and evil from the world with the coming of Moshicah Now. Oseh shalom bimromav hu yaaseh shalom aleinu veal kol Yisrael, vimru amein. May the source of peace in the heavens cause peace to descend on us and all Israel, and let us say amen.
