As promised here is a video of a Horse Hair Worm coming out of a Cricket and here is the story: The Horse Hair Worm is a parasite that lays its eggs on the shore of the cave pool and Jimney Crickets hops up to the pool to get a drink of water and as he is drinking the cricket drinks the egg. The egg uses the cricket as an incubator and after some time the egg hatches inside the cricket and when it does the worm sends a enzyme up to the crickets brain and the cricket becomes really thirsty. So the cricket hops on back to the cave pool and commits suicide by jumping in and once the cricket is in the water it starts dancing and the worm either comes out the Front, the Back or Alien Style just like the movie out the stomach and the cricket explodes. I love my job because I can see this in action in the cave. This is one of my favorite stories to tell because the Horse Hair Worm is the only Monster we have in the cave. I hate to disappoint but there are no live Dragons or Cave Trolls.
