As promised, here is my chicken Betty drinking her favorite carrot - TopicsExpress

As promised, here is my chicken Betty drinking her favorite carrot juice. Youll see in this video how difficult it is for her to walk, however, a week ago she had no use of her legs for several days and had to be picked up and carried around, fed, dust bathed and taken back to the coop every night. I have learned from Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead to ...supercharge my chickens nutrient intake... Joe Cross - with a hefty amount of plant based foods. While all my chickens have always been fed organic grains and the pulp of juiced leafy greens, other veggies and fruit, never before did I try straight juice. I will continue to juice for my chicken until she can walk, run, scratch, fly up the ladder into the coop and come back down again. As those who have chickens know, had I not intervened for my girl, the others would have killed her; through it all, Betty laid an egg every single day. By the way, those eggs are a part of our dogs homemade dog food. Thanks to you Joe Cross, we are becoming vegetarians. Now that my Betty is on the mend, I can get back to your new book.
