As salamu Alaykum brothers and sisters and warm greetings fellow - TopicsExpress

As salamu Alaykum brothers and sisters and warm greetings fellow atheist friends. Im making this post in regards to the recent debates my fellow brothers and sisters have been engaging in with the non Muslims. And I dislike what Im about to say but there has been a lot of Kalam in this chat and there is a lot of things wrong with this. For atheists who might read this, Kalam in Islam means philosophical speech. Now why would philosophical speech be bad in Islam? Well the reasoning is simple. Philosophy is interpreted in many different ways, and what it is essentially is reaching a conclusion to fit your agenda through logical deduction. But the problem with this is Atheists can do this to reach a conclusion to fit their agenda too. Say I gave the first cause argument to an atheist saying God is the first cause. Is this empirical evidence for God? No. Of course not. Why? Because an Atheist can give the exact same argument but say that energy or multiverse created the first universe. I can argue this again, and so they can they. Itll never end and both sides will be correct. This is why Karam is forbidden In Islam. And this applies to other philosophical questions such as Why does Allah have hands? Where is heaven and Hell? Why are there angels? And all this it just leads to confusion and the reason why these types of questions are illogical to ask is because you cant empirically prove the unseen like this, but the way you should approach Atheists is with the things that they want to talk about. Their arguments. And another issue I wish to raise whilst were talking about Kalam is the issue of Muslims themselves. Ive seen a lot of Muslims in this group who are swearing, arguing aggressively and disrupting the atheists and I just want to say that whilst I am not an Atheist myself, I have high respects for Atheists as much as Muslims as they are fellow human beings and what you are doing by swearing at them or swearing in general is against our religion. And before you can give dowah to Non Muslims, we need to sort our Ummah out ourselves. You can communicate with Muslims all you like but do you even know the religion yourself? Are you practicing? Why are there problems in Palestine? Why are our fellow Muslims working with Israel? Our own Ummah needs sorting our brothers. Why has France banned the veil? Why are so many westerners seeing Islam as a violent hateful religion? You think its entirely the Westerners fault? No. I hate to say it brothers and sisters but WE are the problem as well. Us Muslims are going around misinterpreting our religion and doing things against our religion. And it is our fault as well, and we cant go against that unless a Westerner thinks thats what Islam is. But in some retrospect brothers and sisters, I cant entirely blame a Westerner for having this picture of Islam. When we go around being aggressive and generally being a disturbance in the country. If a Westerner goes to Saudia Arabia, you know the Westerner has to respect that culture right? Well as Muslims, Im mainly addressing the Western Muslims btw, we need to respect British, American or whatever culture too. And this is a problem westerners have with us Muslims. So before we can be so active in wanting people to join our religion, for its peace and tranqulity that it is, we as Muslims need to sort ourselves out as well. Im not having a go at you brothers and sisters but it is a huge issue and this is why I cant blame Atheists and westerners entirely when they picture Islam in this matter. Because of this, I want to advise brothers and sisters to learn their religion more and understand how to approach people. And also learn to respect the laws of the country you are in and the culture and contribute. We as Muslims are supposed to be nice people and give to charity no matter what type, not just Muslim charities, and work and contribute to the country you live in. Unless it strictly goes against your religion of course. I dont want to sound as if Im bashing, Im just addressing a problem I see in this group among fellow Muslims and I will of course address that there are Atheists who are aggressive too and I cant speak for them, I can only say we should all respect one anothers views and be nice to each other. islamqa.info/en/88184 This link is about Kalam and Islams views on it as I was saying.
