As some of my friends know Ive been compiling a list of my personal all-time baseball team and so far I have Johnny Bench as my catcher , Lou Gehrig at first base , Joe Morgan at second base , Derek Jeter at shortstop and Mike Schmidt at third base . Now its time for the outfield...this was so tough. I had to leave off some real big names . Hank Aaron , Babe Ruth , Willie Mays , Ty Cobb , Stan Musial and Joe DiMaggio were my picks....I went with six outfielders because there were so many . I also picked a right handed , left handed and switch hitting Designated Hitter and the are...right handed...Miguel Cabrera , left handed....Ted Williams and switch hitter is Mickey Mantle . People I had to leave off were Roberto Clemente , Pete Rose , Frank Robinson , Harmon Killiebrew ( right handed DH ) , Tris Speaker , Barry Bonds etc. Next up is the pitching staff and manager .
