As someone who has a religious background in both Christianity and Judaism, although not a practitioner anymore, I have a simple question: Is it ever okay in America to criticize the Israeli government? In America that is a media death sentence. You are labeled Anti-Semitic and Anti-America if you dare question Israel. Well, my take on it is this: The Jewish race and religion are not the same as the state of Israel. They are not the same as the Zionist Secular government. Now, I will give credit where it is due. Israel is a human rights stronghold in the middle east. However, the current climate suggest otherwise. The genocide of a people is what created the state, and now the cycle is happening again. Forget HAMAS. Look at what Netanyahu is doing. Please. I know first hand that this is not the spirit of the Jewish people or of the faith. Many have spoke out against the atrocities. If you are a person of prayer, than please pray. Pray for Palestine. Pray for Israel. Pray for humanity. Pray for peace.
