Sound familiar? For the first time since the significant axis shift in 2004 which we’ve been tracking since 2006, the 2014 summer solstice measurements on June 21, 2014 have shown another increase of the sun position to the north. I had expected the Salt Lake City latitude to be closer to 9:00 so that means the sun is much farther north of the Tropic of cancer than the 1200 miles I estimated. More like 2000 miles north of the mid Mexico Tropic of Cancer. Perhaps north of Washington State.
