As usual, I need some ID help from the experts. This bird showed up today at my seed tray in central Missouri. It looks similar to a female rose-breasted grosbeak which I have seen in the spring time but its bill is darker and has a very pronounced wing bar. Im guessing a black-headed grosbeak which my guide book says is a very rare stray in the east and sometimes interbreeds with the rose-breasted grosbeak. Thanks in advance for any help.
