As we all get ready to retire for the night in our soft, warm and cozy beds.....at 1:30 am I will awake with that horrible feeling of having to go to the bathroom. I will lay there staring at the ceiling asking myself how bad do I really have to go just to not have to get out of bed and get cold. I will hear my husband bundling up and sneak downstairs as to not wake the boys because they will only beg to go to work with him in delivering the Gazette Newspaper. Yes, he will be braving the weather when its the coldest, driving driveway to driveway, running door to door making sure you get your newspaper that is conveniently placed for you just so you will not get cold in the morning. Its no convenience for him running and bagging each newspaper placing in your door, in the perfect place he thinks you would like it. He will do this for 2 hours sometimes 3 or longer depending on day and weather. He will then come home only to have slip in his warm and cozy bed for a very brief hour if lucky, other days he will just shower and drive on in to work for the day and come home at 4pm...makes for a long day in these brutal winters. He has done this for 5 years NEVER to complain, he knows his customers by name and he appreciates everyone of you....he takes pride in everything he does and is so kind to his elderly customers to make sure they receive it in an easy place though they never ask for the special treatment.
