As we become increasingly aware of the insidious nature of terrorism, following the tracks laid by countless pissing contests going on, which often lead us into our very own back yards, we have come to a point where we are so dependent on others to feed us information, activist or not, and are often waiting for the world to change with high expectations, so we can finally exhale. It is highly uncomfortable and somehow, we must find a balance of comfort (as in not panicking and beating ourselves up) and discomfort (as in facing the truth and taking measures in our own lives to create a new reality and suffer the collective ego). It is a sliding scale of awareness and also courage. Thank goodness for the growing collective of lovers, dreamers and thinkers collaborating and doing, as each individual who bravely departs or brokenly straggles away from the pissing match can find a home and get to doing the real work. We comfort and challenge each other. For your own sake, my advice? Do not hold your breath. Get into your garden, breathe and do some digging. You are not alone.
