As we mourn our Dear departed President of Zambia, I feel a burden as lay preacher. My burden is the understanding of that enemy that has been and hitting us. First of all, my heart bled as Gwembe Member of Parliament Hon Brian Ntundu broke down yesterday as 25 coffins were lowered to dust. He said, time had not yet come for those children to die, to which I agree. if we had done all that we could as humans by dressing up our children with life saving jackets, God would have done his part to command the waters not swallow our children.i have taken great exception to media houses excerpt MUVI TV, when to comes to the demise of our president, they read barely few days after Zambia celebrated golden jubilee but MUVI TV reported, we have lost our President barely days after the country lost 25 children in Gwembe. I thought this jubilee is darkened by the two dark incidences. back to my burden, the statement , You have gone to be with God, you have gone to a better place, a place where you will suffer no more, a place where you will rest peacefully. These are words attributed to the departed. Brethren and Sisters, saying these words to our dead relatives guarantees we are with the enemy of truth who said you shall not surely die in Genesis 3:4, and an affirmation that those who use such, have positively refused to accept Gods word that said, you shall surely die. Genesis 2:17. No one goes to the Lord at death. Ecclesiastes 12:7, Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was; and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Talking about those who have kept his commandments in their life time here on earth (Revelation 22:14), should they die before Jesus comes, Job 17:13-14 if I wait , the grave is mine house,i have made my bed in the darkness.... Where are you preachers of the truth when our fathers word is being down trodden under foot? our forefathers died for protesting for such. I Join John Huss and Jerome.
