Ash Wednesday Service—A Special Kickoff to Lent - Tonight March 5th — 7:30pm: Consider this an invitation to a walk of faith at the beginning of Lent that will culminate on Good Friday as we prepare for Easter. Ash Wednesday allows us to properly prepare our hearts and face our sin before God within the community of faith. This preparation is supported by practicing disciplines. Lenten Disciplines—personal practices of faith - reminds us that discipleship requires deliberate action to do the things that Jesus wants us to do. Disciplines allow us to clear our lives of those things that come between us and God and take on those things that will help us draw closer to God. Be looking for them in the next week -!!!!
